Frequently Asked Questions

  • When should I contact and hire an interior designer for my remodel or new construction project?

Don’t wait until construction is done! It’s best to contact your designer asap in the remodeling or new construction process. Getting us involved from the beginning — choosing finishes, room size and layout, location of light fixtures, etc. — will add efficiency to your project and timeline, and ensure that your vision comes together.

If you’ve already missed the ideal window, no worries, contact me today to get started.

  • How long does a project take?

The average residential interior design project takes approximately 4-6 months from start to finish. The design process itself typically takes about 2-3 weeks for the initial designs, followed by an additional 1-2 weeks for any necessary edits. Lead times on products and materials can take several weeks, especially in the case of custom furniture, which can take 8-12 weeks (sometimes longer!) to arrive.
